How long  can you  be without food and water? Few days only, but here is the case of holy man from India who is surviving from last 75 yrs without  any food or water intake.                                                              







Prahlad Jani,holy man from Gujarat,India has been a mysterious case and challenge for scientists and doctors.Till date there is no specific conclusion on his divine energies because of which he is surviving without water or food for almost 75 yrs now.

Born on 13 august 1929  ,Mehsaana Gujarat ,Mr Jani is also known as 'Chunriwala Mataaji' He left his home at the age of 7 and went to jungle .At the age of 11 he went through some religious process and became follower of 'Amba' goddess.Since than he chose to dress as female ,wear accessories etc.Since 1970 he lived in caves as hermit in the rainforest near Ambaji temple in Gujarat meditating.He claims that he gets drops of liquid sustenance in his mouth through a hole in his palatte  which helps  him survive. This sounds unbelievable isnt ?no food ,no water?As per medical science a human rarely can survive without it for a week barely.Even in extreme diet cases ,this practice is harmful for human body.

Medical Tests 




So what exactly is the truth behind this ?To check several tests were conducted on Mr Jani in the year 2003 and 2010 by doctor Sudhir Shah and his team of 35 researchers from Defence Institute of physiology and Alled sciences at Sterling Hospital,Ahmedabad. He was kept under strict  camera vigilance .His every move  was noted.During this duration he did not ate food or water,neither he passed any stool or urine.He only gargles and sunbathes.After 15 days his reports came out totally normal and his health was described as fit as half of his age.

In Sep 2010 Dr Shah announced that scientist from Germany and Austria have offered to conduct research and Mr Jani is ready to cooperate.


It is assumed his divine energy is derived by meditative powers and his devotion for goddess "Amba". Scientist and researchers are still trying to find the reason and the mystery continues.

According to World Health Federation ,strokes and heart diseases are leading cause of death .But we can prevent these by taking care of our health .Keep your heart healthy and fit with the below tips . Take these resolutions and make yourself fit and healthy





1 Set up Time table :



Rightly said early to bed,early to rise.Set your time to sleep and wake up on time.Have proper minimum 8 hrs of sleep.Do not be late night owl which eventually disrupts the routine other day.



2) Exercise :





Exercise must be an important part of your daily schedule.Go for a light walk,feel the fresh air,enjoy the sunrise.Nothing more can be beautiful and healthy start of your day than this.You can also do yoga,meditation which gets your body amazing physical and emotional balance.


3) Eating right meal at right time :




You must build your timetable for meals.Give your body enough time to digest what you eat Start your day with heavy meal and end with lighter one.Include lot of fruits,salads,veggies,protein in your diet.Another miracle potion is "water",yes have lots of water in day .Opt for healthier food options like brown rice ,green tea,multi grain food items.


4) GoOffline for sometime 




Nowadays TV,internet ,mobile etc have become inseparable part of our life,to an extent that we have lesser time quality time for us and family.
make sure to go  offline for sometime from Tv,Internet .Switch off TV while having food,spent quality time with family.Live communication is far better than online .I bet you will enjoy this and so your heart too ;)



5) Dont Worry Be Healthy





Yes this is the mantra to live happy ,cheerful and healthy life.Life has many ups and downs but the challenge is to get up and keep moving on.Keep yourself happy,contented and cheerful and see the magic .Now a days being happy and tension free life is a challenge .We keep worrying and this affects our health and heart badly.Just analyse the situation ,try to resolve calmly .

Make Happiness a choice not a situation.


6) Be Aware of CVD symptoms 




Last but not the least be aware of any CVD symptom and visit doctor immediately if you feel any such signs like Chest pain,dizziness,fatigue shortness of breathe,discomfort behind the breastbone spreading towards the arm,swollen ankels.
Keep BP monitoring system at home to check the pressures if required .You can also check your cholesterol with self sampling blood tests taken at home .

Ganesha Says!!!!!!!!!!!!


Its Ganpati Festival time and I can see this is  a start of festive season. Ganpati is considered divine and holy god who is the first one to be worshipped before any .With advent of Ganesh Chaturthi festival,lord Ganesh is worshipped for ten days in all.It is a festival where we express our gratitude towards lord Ganesh. People keep Ganesh idol at home or as event group for public display and puja .Lastly the divine idol is immersed (visarjan) in river,lake or sea.This tradition is carried since past  decades.It is vibrant festival and enjoyed by everyone.It is said to bring divine happiness and good luck ahead.

Today environmental situation is different than what it was earlier.We have now heated issues to deal with like global warming, environmental pollution including   air,water,deforestation,wildlife exhaustion .Its high time we must realize the importance of saving these resources before they get exhausted.

Earlier Ganesha idol was made of clay but now a days they are made of  new material like plaster of paris (POP) with colorful chemicals  .Because of this , idol is not immersed properly on visarjan and stays undissolved which in turn pollutes water  which is harmful for us also for aquatic animals. After seeing this dreadful situation we must now take a  strong step to save environment. Below is what we can do :

1 ) These days "Eco friendly Ganesha' is in trend and we must adhere to buy these idols which are made of clay.They have earth element and and when immersed,dissolves quickly and emits spiritual frequencies in environment.




2)Avoid use of loud music,alcohol etc  which leads to health issues.

3) If possible do the visarjan at home ,its pure bliss when the divine clay from Ganesha Idol gets dissolved and we reuse it watering the planters etc .The blessings stays home.I love this idea and I made sure to do the visrajan at home only, infact my mom inititated this seeing the awareness .So its not that difficult guys its only us who can make a difference.Lets pledge to save our environment and be a responsible citizen !! 

I am sure our beloved lord Ganesha also will be hay with lesser pollution and lesser killing of aquatic life and we will be blessed too.

Miracle of Forgiveness




Forgiveness seems very difficult aspect of life for us since we come across many painful experiences with people who have hurt  us and so we think why I should forgive ,this would make me weaker.

Yes this was same situation with me when my fellow mates asked me to do this.For me it was offending,i thought these guys dunno what i went through and why should I forgive.with time i got my answers and now i know how important it is.

We keep many grudges and pain in heart since years for those hurtful experiences and every now and than we keep hurting ourselves thinking about it.So who is in the loss? We!
Why? as we are ruining our stats of mind and peace,we are ruining our health and relations with others.We are not giving space to better and positive life .Yes this is the fact and hence we spoil our present with these negative thoughts.

So what we must do? we must think of the person who has hurt us most and start forgiving with him/her.You do not  need to talk or meet with that person instead you need to tell yourself ,your heat that you have eradicated all those hurtful thoughts from your heart and now you untie yourself from the said person.Now you forgive and let it free.Now you empty that space in life so that abundance ,growth and positivity fills it .

With this act you will feel much lighter and stress free.Most important is that you are forgiving for your own benefit,this do not mean you would accept wrong behaviour of that person anymore.You are just letting go the ties and move ahead in life.This is amazing as i have started doing that and this made my life better and better :)

With the time I have discovered many ways to be keep myself happy .here I am sharing them as below.I am sure on following this one an change life in positive ways


1) Make a action plan :

One must concentrate on self care .Try indulging yourself in those activities which help you boost happiness,confidence,slash stress and maintain peace of mind.this is "your "time.


2:Get going,Get outside:

You must ditch the comfort of your home to improve mental and physical health. since spending time outside benefits the brain and helps diverting mind.Go for a walk in greener area ,meet people etc


3: Meditate :

Meditations helps to relieve tension,be at peace,It helps getting best  and mental benefits.
I make sure to meditate atleast 10 minutes a day weather early morning or before sleep .


4:Help someone :

Yes an act of kindness helps you to feel good and boosts your mental health and self confidence.



5: Focus on Present:

One must be mindful,live and focus in present.Many times we keep ourselves haunted with thoughts about past and future worries.Insead of that we must focus in Present moment and live it fully .


Look in the mirror and say I Love You





Did u ever said urself I love you  ?

I love you” these words always fascinated us since beginning. When we were growing up as teenager, those three words gave us thrill and excitement and confidence.
With the time when things go wrong we get depressed and our lives become sad.

We never thought on one important fact that we must love ourself first. Unless we love ourselves how can someone else value us ?I was told this exercise once when I was going through sad and depressed times. Go ahead stand in front of mirror and say “I Love you” ..yes this sounds crazy but when I tried ,I wasn’t able to face myself and felt sad. I got to know I have so much negativity about myself that I can even say it confidently. Now I got the way out. Yes this is what I have been missing. I was missing self  love and respect. This is the essence of life less expectation and self love .

I have now made it a practice .and this has made significant changes in life ,I  nomore beg to hear these words from else as I love myself.
